My husband snapped a pic of me this morning while I was lifting up into Headstand. Look, no kicking or flailing! See how I am moving slowly enough that the pic is hardly even blurry? This has been an awesome week. Both my yoga classes turned out to be all about inversions and also proper head and neck alignment. So I got to really dig into Headstand and figure it out, figure how to elevate the legs without any use of momentum at all, just straight strength, leverage, and alignment. So exciting!
And I do want to say that I owe a lot to P90X. This slow lift-up would not be possible without my new core strength. So thanks, Tony Horton! You really helped me!
